After years of using commercial chocolate as my base, I finally took the plunge and ordered my gear today. I may still use Valrhona, Callebaut, etc in the future, but it will be so satisfying to use *my* chocolate that *I* make in my confections. Ten years of dreaming and "playing", now what do the next 10 years hold?

Received my Ultra Deluxe today and a Behmor 1600 yesterday. Awaiting the crankenstein and I should be GTG for chocolate making! Oh yeah, need to pick up a couple 5 gallon food grade buckets and another hair dryer for winnowing...

Today I realized I still get as excited as a little kid on Christmas every time I start a batch of chocolate. Never loses the magic for me.

So is there an update? How did it go? Do you have pictures of the step by step? What did you end up paying for the equipment and where did you buy it from?
