I am trying to make almond/ irish cream/ mint flavoured chocolate covered cookies. I melt the chocolate and add Lorann's chocolate oil. I dip the cookies. The chocolate sets and the chocolate tastes like the flavouring, but after 5 days, the flavour in non existent. Also, can I remelt the flavoured chocolate and use it again? Do I need to add more flavouring? Thank you in advance.

What temp is the chocolate when you add the oil? Oils that give mint flavor/aroma are terpenes which are quite volatile and more so at higher temps. It could all be burning off in hot chocolate. Can you try adding it at the lowest temp possible?
You can probably remelt and temper the chocolate (if needed) as long as the oils haven't messed up the temper.
