I know this is a cheater version, but i need to make a quick and easy raspberry chocolate to melt and drizzle on pizzelles. I used the common chocolat company often boycotted for it's other products and marketing brand on raspberry chocolate chips a few years back, but they no longer make it.
What would be a relatively easy way to make a raspberry chocolate starting with the basic common chocolat company often boycotted for it's other products and marketing semi-sweet chips. I basically need to know what to use to effectively flavor the melted chocolate chips. (orange and strawberry suggestions would be welcomed as well)
thanks for the help...I'm in panic mode here!!!! sox2004

One post is enough to get our attention...
For a quick and dirty flavoring of chocolate your only option would be flavoring oils. Try Lorann or CK brands to see if they have a raspberry product. More than likely it will be an artificial flavor though.

I tried a dry powdered raspberry product from Nutri fruit. It didn't work very well. I think it needs the moisture to make it come alive and it dosn't get a chance to when it's coated in fat. So I'll probably try a ganache with it at some point. The oil sounds interresting.
