Hi... Does anyone know anyone who knows someone who's uncles daughter married the son of a cocoa farmer. Nah... not in that order. But does anyone have any contacts for Cirillo cocoa farmers or just in general cocoa farmers emails. I would also like to know more information about that Porcelana Cacau which is apparently the rarest bean according to 'choklat' and where that is availible. Thanks for help!

Laba47;
You could have just emailed me and asked me about Porcelana. But then again maybe you don't believe what I've written on my website, and need validation for yourself.
Whatever the case, Porcelana usually pops up in very small lots (100-200lbs), and frequently comes from the Lake Maraciabo region of Venezuela, although there have been accounts of small amounts of Porcelana coming from other areas of the world.
The Porcelana I have comes from an estate in the Tabasco region of Mexico. This estate is well known in the chocolate world as one that is trying hard to revive the rare cacau. The beans I have were originally destined for Pierre Marcolini's factory in the UK.
It is rumored that the chocolate company Valrhona has recently purchased an estate and is cultivating their own Porcelana due to the inconsistencies and rareity in market supply.
I wish you luck in your quest for Porcelana. I obtained mine thanks to some cherished and well connected contacts in the industry.
With regard to the criollo beans you are looking for, John Nanci, the owner of this site has some fabulous criollo for sale. You can buy directly from him!
Cheers. 'Choklat'

while in origin recently, i had a cocoa farmer ask me if i knew any good 'merican girls that might want to marry him. sadly i do not, but if you're looking for a connection....
it was a very strange question, i had to ask him to repeat it just to ensure i heard him correctly. my spanish is ok, but i though perhaps i'd misheard 8)

Sebastian;
He's in a tropical climate so that's a great start.
Does he have money? With money and a tropical climate to live in as incentive, my girlfriend may just trade in her current model for a tropical model!
Then I'd be left asking you if you knew any beautiful young tropical women who'd like to marry a bald has-been who lives in the Great White North!
LMAO
Brad.

my suspicion is that he's asking because he thinks all 'merican girls have money, and he wants in on it - your girlfriend is safe! besides, she's not a 'merican 8-P
