A few years back I was in Belize and a guy gave me some cocoa beans that you could eat whole. They were roasted. They tasted great with great texture. They were almost like eating dark chocolate and not bitter. I bought a bag of them from him and have not found any like this again and I have tried several. Where can I get this type of bean? Thanks!

It would be difficult to tell you without knowing more specific information. Please also keep in mind that cacao harvests can be variable as far as flavor, not to mention the fermentation process and roasting profile. There are many variables that go into growing and processing cacao that can change flavor and texture. Have you tried these: junglecatcacao.com/product/4-oz-roasted-ready-to-eat-belizean-cacao-beans-2/
