i have recently discovered that my hometown in Mexico is located at exactly 20 degrees north of the equator and the altitude is at about 1500 meters. i have heard and read that it is possible to grow trees in Michoacan but i was hoping for some reassurance. if this is really possible, then one of my dreams might just come true. =D

Aloha again! Sharkman here. I think your latitude is fine and the trees will probably grow and if you have small midges[tiny bugs] they will polinate. I can only suggest you give it a try and in a few years you will know for sure. You can also pollinate them yourself ; but a little more time consuming. Keep in touch and good growing Sharkman
