I just finished reading a good book called "Chocolate a bittersweet saga of dark and light" by Mort Rosenblum. It's really worth readind as there is a lot of information on cocoa and chocolate in general.

What does the book focus on primarily? is it more of history or does it go through a detailed look of growth and production as well? Have a good one, Robert www.chocolateguild.com

Robert,
This book covers a lot of ground and is very well written. It is a journey that takes you from plantations all around the world to the back room of some master chocolatiers (and everything in between)... from Paris to Venezuela . Mort Rosenblum traveled for two years to follow the cacao trail wherever it took him.....

I concur with the comment that it is a wonderful book. I couldn't put it down. Love these kind of books. I also recommend "Vanilla" by Tim Ecott. Another good travel, history and informative book. If your into vanilla. Sharkman
