How long should I roast 2 pounds of the Panama Trinitario beans in the Behmor roaster? P2 for ??
Have these beans been reviewed? Thanks for helping out here!

I roasted the Panama last week in the Behmor, but unfortunately I overloaded it and ended up roasting for more than 20 min. Part of the problem is that I roast in the garage and the beans and roaster were cold. I am about to do another roast today and will keep the weight down to 1 or 1.5 lbs. Roast till you hear the beans pop and you should be done. Check out some of the other threads on this board for tips on roasting. I would use my eyes, ears and nose to judge instead of looking for exact times / weights. Just don't overload the Behmor. Thanks for replying and for the link. I now see there is lots of info on my question. I did roast 2 pounds (at P2) but right away reduced the time a lot. But then had to add increments of time (again and again). I am not sure how long I roasted those beans but they didn't crack till they began smelling burned, so perhaps a lower temperature would have been wise. Mine too were somewhat below room temperature so that may have had an impact. Anyhow, the taste is good despite the former concern, so perhaps it is my nose that needs adjustment. Thanks again.
