Not strictly edible, but delicious nontheless. Approximate measurements (if the balm is too solid add some more olive oil, if too liquid add some more beeswax - this can be made without beeswax, use more cocoa butter and less olive oil) 1/3 beeswax 1/3 organic extra virgin olive oil 1/3 cocoa butter add a little dark or milk chocolate, not much is needed but you want enough to colour and flavour the balm For 15 ml pot add 7 drops of orange essential oil for 30ml pot add 15 drops orange essential oil put all ingredients in a small jar (not metal!) and place in the microwave, blast for 30 secomds at a time on defrost until all melted, give a quick stir with a cocktail stick and allow to cool. If the mixture is too solid scoop a little out and add more olive oil, if too liquid, add more cocoa butter or beeswax. You can substitue olive oil for any other oil, sunflower oil, almond oil, avocado oil etc.

You can bet the Jungle bathes in baths of cocoa and bannanas! Seriously, I was specifically inquiring about a moisturizing body butter type deal, ie. the UK/US Body Shop series, wanna make one for the chica. Anyone??? Oh, all natural more-or-less, like the type above-CHEMICALS SUCK!
K, Gonna try you balm this week, will post verdict, thanks!

I made a bunch of this lip gloss in the Spring - my daughters and their friends all loved it. I bought empty lipstick tubes and tamperproof seals from a supply house, made some labels and - success. The product was really good, especially with undeodorized cocoa butter. We'll probably be making some more within a month or so, as dry heating season approaches up here in Massachusetts.
I did a few batches with a citrus aroma, a cinnamon aroma, a mint aroma and a chocolate aroma. The favorites were cinnamon and citrus - I'm going to do a bit more experimenting with the next batches.

Yum! That stuff sounds... lip smacking delicious! Since I happen to have a lot of cocoa butter lying around, I'm going to have to try it: might make some nice Christmas gifts. A friend actually gave me a recipe I've been wanting to try: * 2 parts beeswax * 2 parts cocoa butter * 1 part coconut oil * 1 part grapeseed oil * flavoring (chocolate, of course!) I use expeller pressed coconut oil in some of my recipes: it actually has no odor to it. I figure if I use the non-deodorized cocoa butter, it would even bake the chocolate flavor/essense more pronounced.

I am visiting family in Florida right now but when I get home I plan to make some lip balm for gifts. I was in a quandry as to what to put it in and this may sound silly but..... at Dollar Tree they sell lip gloss in a package that has 4 different lil plastic tubs of lip gloss for $1. I plan to discard the lip gloss, clean out the lil tubs and fill them with the Chocolate Orange Lip balm. I already cleaned out one, and they clean out good. I'll update y'all after I make this stuff.
