Hello,
Does anyone here use an electric gun for spraying chocolate?

If you are talking about a special designed spray gun just for chocolate, yes I have experience with the hotCHOC from KREA Swiss. Why are you asking?

Can you give me a review about that gun?
I see they have a warming system so the nozzle doesn't get clogged

Yes, the nozzle warmer and insulation avoids the need to reheat with a hot air gun! One can work for up to an hour without needing to reheat the container due to the insulation. Check out the films & photos on the Krea Swiss Facebook Forum: www.facebook.com/KREASwissFoodEquipment/

Plug & play he says. This gun comes with a warming system as you are saying. I’ve seen a couple of positive reviews, where they also talk about other types of food sprayers. Some for thick material, others for thinner liquids ... but I reckon it’s certainly better to use something food safe rather than working with a paint sprayer from the DIY-shop down the road. This stuff might be cheaper, but in the long run they are probably not that reliable, I’d say

I know the spray gun you are talking about. I am working with one the sprayers from this Swiss company called HOTCHOC spray gun. Perfect for spraying a mixture of chocolate and cocoa butter. It has a special heating unit that heats the chocolate and butter (temp. of 28c to 35c). It has a nozzle warmer which reduces the chance of chocolate cooling and then blocking the nozzle. You can achieve a fantastic velvety effect on desserts. It's an expensive piece of kit, yes, but I'd say a recommended investment for your kitchen.
