Does anyone know if there's a reasonably current list of people and companies in the bean-to-bar industry? I'm kind of curious as to whether there are any around my area that I might compare notes with. It seems, from Googling, that I'm all alone, but that seems unlikely. (Minnesota, by the way.) The second graphic on the following page is the best I've found on the subject. Does this represent reality, do y'all think? If so, I'm the only maker in my state or any adjacent state. www.chocolate.is

Thanks, Adam. That evolving list is a pretty cool idea, and has a lot of info in it. I'm still feeling pretty alone in Minnesota, though. Maybe I'll wait till I have a little more street cred in this forum and start a list like that here.

Okay, no need to start a list here, Kevin, thanks.

It does look like those guys have got it covered. The only thing left for us to do is make sure we make some good chocolate to get OUR names on those lists.

Well, thanks for posting this. I realize that I am not on any of these lists. I've just followed up to get myself included. I've been making chocolate for years. If you ever find yourself in Pike Place Market in Seattle, please come on by and introduce yourself. Until then, you can also find indi chocolate on our website indichocolate.com. Isn't Mindo also in Minnesota (as well as Equador)?
