When I visit the country, I brought some samples (about 15 kg or 33 lbs) of the bean back to USA. It's a Trinitario bean that is further crossed bread with Criollo. It's fermented bean and sun dried. If you would like to try it, I can sell you some samples for you to try.
There is no minimum weight to buy. You just have to pay shipping. I use USPS shipping with tracking. If you are local (I am in San Diego, CA), then you can buy it without shipping.
If interested, you can message me or email at gameson AT ymail DOT com.
Thanks.

I'm interested in 2kg.
If I like the sample, how would I go about purchasing larger amounts - such as 3-4 metric tons?
Please send me an email at BradC@SoChoklat.com and I will give you the shipping particulars, or even send you money via Paypal to get the shipment on the road to me here in Calgary.
Cheers. Brad

Hi Brad,
I sent you an email to your address, please let me know.
The price for the sample is $10 per pound, it should be inline with chocolate alchemy retail price. Shipping is per charged by USPS (or if you have your own FedEx, UPS, DHL, I can use your account for shipping at no charge)
Thanks.

Why just those two? There's PT effem, PT Comextra, PT Cargill, PT Olam, etc etc

I got the samples from a friend of mine who supplies cocoa liquor to Cargill, Mayora, and other European chocolate as well.
