Hi there!
I'm doing research on starting up a candy store. I'm working on recipes right now and looking around for a good tempering machine. My plans are to open a store in my hometown within a year or so. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice they'd like to send along? Anything - from popular candies to good equipment to good places to get info.
Thanks! I look forward to hearing from everyone!

Hi, I can't help you with any advice on candies... like most of the folks here, we are mostly interested in making our own chocolate from scratch.... "bean to bar" as they say..... and most here do not pursue the usual pre-made products from the usual big manufactures. You might get some help on tempering machines if you could give more information as far as size, type of chocolate etc. robert

courses.ecolechocolat.com/If you're really into it this can help. You only get out what you put in so you really have to have a passion. They have an extensive knowledge base. The course helped me and I'm currently a few months from opening my own business. Tell Pam and Heidi I said hello.
