I will be travelling to London and Cambridge and was looking for some recommendations of places to get chocolate or desserts in general. Thanks!

Thanks! I had some ideas of some shops from magazines and it's good to see others opinions.. I'll most likely be going to William Curley and possibly L'Artisan du Chocolat.. And Fortnum & Mason I think these are mostly truffles.. I'm looking for good chocolate bars, as well, though.. Also, I almost stopped by the Bittersweet Cafe last time in the bay area! If I had known, I would have surely been by.. I'm bummed out..

To report back: William Curley had some very tasty truffles. We got there as they opened and they were setting out fresh made ones. We tried the champagne, sichuan pepper, chuao, mint, and mango & passionfruit truffles. I liked the chuao one. My girlfriend liked the champagne and mango & passionfruit ones. We agreed though that the champagne truffle was coated in too much powdered sugar.
Fortnum & Mason was a bit of a let down. A dozen or so brands of chocolates (not nearly what can be found at the chocolate specialty stores here) and a counter of nuts & creams chocolates, which we skipped.
