Hi everyone,
I fell back on my Premier Wonder Grinder while waiting to get support about my Refiner from DCM.
I made some white chocolate with it and it turned out beautifully. However afterwards, one of the stone wheels got completely stuck. I know to take the wheels off and clean all the nooks and crannies but it absolutely won’t come off. Even with the nuts and bolt off it’s stuck in place.
I used my hair dryer to try and melt off any residual chocolate bu it won’t budge. Any suggestions please?

i've never had a wonder grinder. Can you take the entire wheel assembly out of the bowl? If so, I would do that and soak it in really hot water for a bit, then give it a try.

Thanks Chip! It looks almost identical to the Refiner, so i followed your arvice and put it in a bowl of hot water. Fingers crossed!
But man, these machines are so finicky no matter how you carefully you treat them..

I tried soaking it in hot water for quite a while and it absolutely isn’t budging. How is this possible i don’t get it?? Surely if it was chocolate it would have melted already?
Any others top by any chance? I’m about to lose my mind haha

Guys i figured it out!! I was so over it and this is my back up grinder anyway so i used some brute force. I held the wheel down and punched it a few times and it finally came off! It was indeed chocolate stuck in there. It was a bit gross. I gave it a good old OCD clean. Phew! Now i just hope i didn’t damage the thing by soaking it, washing it and punching it 🤣 Any tips on how to avoid this happening in the future?
