The first recipe I tried didn't use up all the cocoa liquor I had on hand, and I may not have time to temper the chocolate before taking off for 2 days. Can all this be safely stored? How? Thanks

You bet. Store if for months if you like. If stored in a cool place, in a sealed container, liquor will stay good for (in some cases) years.

I find best to store all my ingredients in metal tins (cookie tins) in the basement if you have one (if not, somewhere about 68 degrees in temp.) Also, the liquor and cocoa butter will last for a little more than a year.
