Dear John,
I wonder, if to minimze confusion, the sub-title of the "General Chocolate Making at Home," should say something like:
"This is a good place for discussing chocolate making issues that are NOT discussed in the roasting, winnowing, refining and conching, or any other specific forums."
Currently it says:
"This is a good place to discuss Roasting cocoa beans, formulating recipes, and other general chocolate making questions"
However, both roasting and formulations have their own forums, so things might become somewhat disorganized this way with similar topics in two different areas.
Just a suggestion.
Sincerely,
Alan P.S. Similarly, the "General Board" section could be called the "Coffee Lounge," which is common on web forums, to clarify that it doesn't have a chocolate focus.
