I have enjoyed this forum very much. The information I have gathered here helped make my first attempt reasonably successful. I am making my second batch of chocolate and noticed while grinding that there seemed to be smoke/steam coming from the tip of the juicer within a few minutes of grinding. The first time I used the juicer (a champion) it did become very hot and I used a frozen blue ice pack to keep it cool. The chocolate liquor coming from this attempt is very dense, unlike my first attempt, and I'm concerned that the chocolate is scorched, making it unusable for bon bon's. I also wondering if others have had this happen and do they know why? Was I too aggressive on the pusher?
My kids and husband LOVE this new venture of mine. Thanks for any replies.
