Hi there, I am looking into starting a bean to bar business and scaling up my chocolate production beyond the capacity of my tabletop Santha. Does anyone have recommendations about melangeurs? I’m looking for something That can handle up to about 30 lbs. Also, if it matters, I’m in Canada.

I have been making stellar chocolate for the past 13 years with purpose built small scale equipment and am now the North American dealer for it. Machines like the ones I sell (and demo in the video on my site below) are the ONLY purpose built chocolate refiners on the market today. They are designed for labs in large factories, but work great for small businesses, and make between 25 and 90lbs of chocolate in a batch right from the nibs. There is one other manufacturer of these machines, and it's the McIntyre Chocolate Systems company. However they are 4 X the price for the same type of machine that I sell and support. Our company has been working with Diamond Melangers for the last few years and I can't make a complaint if i tried. www.melangers.com/They really are a great company to help scale a startup. We've been using two of their 40kg capacity melangers for the last three years and everything's been working perfectly. Customer service is great and there's a personal connection and concern if any issues arise. Shout out to Bhadvani! Can't emphasize enough how good they are with problem solving and customer care.
