I would like to refine around 30 kg of nibs.
What are the current options, alternatives to the FBM Rumbo Kid or 65E Grindeur from CocoaTown?
Cheers.

John sells a Spectra 65 melanger on his website. Premier has the Model 70. If you look around this forum you might find some other options. Those are the obvious ones I know.

Doing a quick google search on the "Premier Model 70", I don't get any results other than the original 1.5L Premier tabletop grinder. Do you have a link to the Model 70?

Ah, okay. I am familiar with the DCM machines through Indi. Thanks for sharing.

Curious if you made a decision on one of these? We are looking to step up to something in the 20-40kg, and are curious what's worked well for other folks?

I'm the North American dealer for the refiners we have been using for 10 years. They are purpose built chocolate refiners/universals, and are what some of the best chocolate makers in the industry use today (such as Bonnat, and Askinose, and us). Check it out: www.Choklat.com/jmjdemo.htmlThese are SPECIFICALLY designed to make chocolate and will make the batch sizes you are looking for. The spectras are not. Cheers Brad Churchill Choklat
