In an unthinking moment I added my powdered milk and sugar all at once, and caused the Santha to seize. I got it running well, but when I pulled the chocolate for the night (the Santha is too big to fit in my oven) I discovered that some of the seal had cracked off. There is no leak (yet). Is there a way to repair this problem, or ...? With more thought I realize that some of my problem was caused by a couple of times in the past after I had emptied the Santha for the night of most of the chocolate , the bit that was left behind locked the grinding wheels in place, and I went to start the machine in the morning before I had fully melted this bit of chocolate. -obviously I have had more than one unthinking moment Thanks so much for any advice anyone has! JB Weld works well asl long as we are talking about on the bottom, not in contact with the chocolate itself.
