Hey chocolatiers
I am so happy to get information about making chocolat... I was searching the internet for weeks about making chocolat by myself and the only advice you get is (no way to do it at home exept for hot chocolate drink) Well I am happy about every kind of hint you can give me... as my experiences until now were only about consuming chocolat and making diferent kind of things with couverture... Actually i started looking for information as i want to open a chocolat shop in santo domingo... but guess what... i would have to buy couverture from europe or somewhere else (funny to imagine that beans are sold here to europe)... no my question can i really produce the amount of chocolat to have a little shop??? (i am thinking of a shop like the one in chocolat...) or should i really think about buying couverture? i think the process of making chocolate itself has to be a lot of fun too... well any suggestions i would really appreciate them... by the way i am not sure but somewhere it is mentioned that i would not need the juicer... what are the consecuences about just using the grinder? will it last less time? or do you get a poor quality chocolat?
i would be happy about any kind of comment... as happy as i am to have found this page...
thanks a lot
simone
ps: i find it hard to get from the main page to the forum? why is that? i got to the forum by accident and now i have it saved as a favorit...
