When I am toasting cacao beans in my Behmor roaster I get an Error 7 when the auto shut off is about to come on and you have 30 seconds to press start or it goes into coming mode. Is there anyone to avoid this? It's a pain as you have to be staring at the machine when it happens or you will miss it. I am roasting on P2 for 16 minutes. It happens at about 14 minutes.

As far as I know, there's no way to avoid it. Behmor added it as a safety measure.

I just upgraded the behmor 1600 to the plus model and found this out the hard way. What a PITA!

I just upgraded the behmor 1600 to the plus model and found this out the hard way. What a PITA! Sadly, so are people walking away from their roasters (i.e. not standing in front of them) having fires occur, and then filing claims. Behmor needed to protect itself. |
