Hi, I have brought some silicone molds and every time I get them out the cupboard there's a strange growth on it all over front and back, It's like icing sugar but more like mold, it disappears completely when wet. The moulds I'm using are silikomart made in Italy. I do have pictures however I can't see an upload button on here. Are my moulds safe to use? Do you know what it is or how to get rid of it?
Thank you Helen.

It's just a thin layer of cocoa butter I expect, nothing to worry about

Thank you Helen. What you are describing sounds very similar to what is happening with my silicone muffin pans. Everytime I take them out of the cupboard they are covered in what looks like white mold.
