hey there all you chocolate alchemists. im rache and im kinda new to the chocolate making game, but i really wanna learn. out of curiosity, where are you all from? i just found this website and it definately got my attention. i have a giant fire drum in my backyard- would this be of any use for bean roasting?? also how old is everyone. im 18, i live in melbourne and to be honest- im a chocaholic. anyway i wont crap on for too long, just please someone reply to this post- i wanna know more about u alchemists:) peacexo

You probably could make a cacao roaster out of almost any drum that can take a high heat. In fact, if you look around the roasting section of this site, you'll see a thread devoted to building a roaster. That might be of help to you.
