Has anyone used a Behmor to roast a single pound of beans? Would a short roast (maybe 10 minutes) on the 1 pound setting work ok? Or would it be better to use a standard length roast (16 to 18 minutes) using the 1/2 pound setting? Thought I'd ask before experimenting. Thanks!

I asked Alchemist John the same question a few months back. His answer seems odd, but it worked for me using 1.25 lbs. or a 1/2 batch:
"...I know it seems counter intuitive, what you want to do is try putting it on the longest time, on the coldest setting. P5 for something like 23 minutes (maximum). That stretches out the profile and adds less heat to the half load. Then stop it when it smells right. Hopefully it is around 16-18 minutes still."
Please let me know, if it works for you. -cocobyer
