I am new to Cocoa beans. Had some In Roatan Honduras last week and I liked them. I ordered two pounds of raw beans through the mail and was wondering if this pizza cooker might work? It's not like a conventional pizza cooker.

Hello. It looks like the link to the pizza cooker didn't make it into your post.

Ben, thanks for your thoughts. I just thought of this pizza cooker because I have one already. Would I spread them out on it or put them in a bowl?

I'd imagine you'd want to spread them out so they're in a single layer. Let us know how it works and how many you're able to roast!

As soon as the beans arrive I will try it. This cooker can cook from top or bottom or both top and bottom. Which way should I try?

My guess would be both. You'll probably want to stir them around every so often, too make sure they're roasting consistently.

It really cooks a good pizza. I can't wait to try the beans. The beans I bought already roasted in Honduras were kind if burnt tasting compared the free samples they were giving out which tasted really good.

Just wanted to add the raw beans I bought on eBay are Dominican organic. Not sure if these are a good one to start with?
