Hi,
I am new to this and have yet to roast any beans or nibs. Reading through the old posts it seems that a convection oven is a good place to start when roasting beans. Unfortunately, I don't have one of those. I have, however, seen Whirley Pop stovetop popcorn poppers at the charity shops.
Does anyone have advice on using the Whirley Pop for roasting whole beans and/or nibs? I am just wanting some general directions to help me get started -such things as temperature settings (med-high, high, low, etc) and time. I have an electric stovetop if that helps.
Thanks, Adrian
