I have a Wonder Grinder but the same question applies I think - If I'm going to make chocolate again in a few days and I'm making 100%, any reason to not just leave the leavings from the last batch in it?

No but I would wrap the blow up with glad wrap until next use and so nothing fills in.

I didn't clean mine and I got chocolate in one of the wheels so it seized up (I don't know if cleaning would have prevented it though)... is this a common problem or did I just get really unlucky? Jhoff, I'm really glad you're starting a little before me with the same machine - you've already asked a lot of the questions I want to ask!

I always clean my Premier after use with HOT water. I use a brush to make sure excess chocolate is removed as well as a sponge. Now that I've done it a few times, it takes me 5 minutes to completely clean the unit and I haven't had any problems with wheels seizing (up to Batch #16 with batch run time being 9 min and 30 max hours)

Thanks Gap! I take it you do not take the wheels off when you clean yours? It sounds like maybe I just got unlucky - hopefully just with that batch. It's scary when something weird happens on only the second run
