We have an ECGC=12SL melanger, the plastic ring on the bottom of the drum melted off and the drum will no longer fit into the unit. Is there any way to purchase a replacement drum or repair this drum? Over the past month we have placed numerous calls to Cocoatown leaving a message each time but with no reply.
If anyone has any information on replacement parts or repairs please let us know. Thank you.

I've always gotten a reply when I emailed them: info@cocoatown.com.
The plastic ring melted? That seems like it would take a lot of heat. Do you have any pictures? How hot does your chocolate get as it's refining?

If you bought it through The Chocolate Alchemist, you should also let him know if there is a problem. I have found him to be extremely responsive when contacted directly.
I'm curious if anyone is taking temperatures while their CocoaTown is running and what they are getting. Please post if you have the numbers. I would like to know both the temperatures by the motor and inside with the chocolate.

I monitor the chocolate temp periodically throughout the refining process, but not the motor temp. The chocolate generally gets around 130 degrees F.
