I've been thinking about upgrading from my collection of Cocoatown Ultra melangers and was wondering how the bigger melangers compare to each other. For the smaller melangers, I'm a big fan of the cocoatowns, but the differences in the larger melangers seem less obvious.
Can anyone who has one or the other give their opinions? I'd love to hear about why you chose the one you did as well as how it's worked out for you, and if you've had any problems along the way.
Thanks!

Also, I was wondering if anyone had any definitive information about the difference between the Cocoatown ECGC line and InnoDB's ICGC line. The only thing I've heard is that the tension spring was moved from inside the bowl to the center shaft. From various things I've read online, it seems as if some people have used the ICGC line, but I'd love to hear from anyone who has done/is doing this and get their thoughts on how it works.

I've heard back via email from an owner of a santha 40. He said that he is overall very happy with it and doesn't have any of the leaking problems that plague the small santhas.
Pros: Grinds well Quiet for such a big machine (this was a surprise to me) Speed control is very nice.
Cons: As we knew, the belt is of low quality and needs to be adjusted frequently. If I got one, I'd replace the belt with a fiberglass link belt as discussed in other threads.
