Saw the Gourmia GTA 2500. Doesn't look like its sold on ChocolateAlchemy anymore.
However, it appears it was a 10 quart, 1250 watt Air Fryer. So I assume anything 10qt with a minimum of 1250 watts, with a rotisserie will be good for roasting roughly 1 kilo of beans.
I'm looking at the Insta Air Fryer, as they hail the same familiar brand Insta Pot.
Any other Air Fryer roasters out there with recommendations?
Why Air Fryer? Cost. I dont have a convection oven, but I like the idea of convection adding a greater level of consistency in the roasting. These air fryers seem to be roughly a 1/4 of the cost of the Behmor, so someone just getting their hands dirty in DIY Bean to Bar, I approve!

I picked up the Gourmia through Best Buy online. It's pretty nice with all the doo-dads that are included. I tried roasting nibs but I should have lowered the temperature since the nibs are smaller and because I only used 1 lb. The roast went very fast but it was easy to get readings. It appears that there is no carryover of smells from cooking chicken, onion rings, or fish either! 😋
Cheers! Jim
