I'm not sure how this will be received so I'm sorry if i offend the greater chocolate community.
A friend of mine recently bought a Selmi Colatore for her two Selmi Plus EX machines, and was fairly disappointed with the results, inconsistent feed out the nozzles, leaking at seams, wastes kg of chocolate because it gets stuck and to top it off she paid top dollar. Well being an Engineer i looked at the thing and thought boy i could design and make that pretty easily, so after a couple late nights and some good tune i made something that i'm pretty proud. below should be a picture
I did my homework and it uses all food grade stainless steel, aluminum and silicone.
I wondering if there is any interest from the community in stuff like this? i have full design capability and can customize it in pretty much any way, and further more could probably make any other custom pieces. We have not tested it yet on her machines, i have only tested it with room temperature honey (with GREAT success but i get it chocolates a completely different beast) i'm not willing to put a price on it until i know it works flawlessly but if it does in its current state (or close to it) it could easily be half of what the Selmi product cost.
anyways if there is interest i will post links to videos of it in action but in the mean time would love to hear your opinions, and if YOU have any pain points in your chocolate making endeavors8

I'd love to see videos of it in action. I don't have a selmi, but have thought of making something like this for my savage bros machine.
Interesting that she had so many problems with the Selmi plate. I've seen a bunch of those in action and haven't seen any issues or heard complaints.
