Hello, I am in the preparing stages of starting to make chocolate bean to bar here in Australia (Vic). I've bought some equipment and have been trying to secure some raw beans but there has been some red tape!
At this point in only looking for 20-50kg.
I've tried pretty much everywhere that I can find in Australia, there's a farm in FNQ called East trinity cocoa and they're not willing to sell me raw beans due to fear of pathogens, so they'll only sell roasted nibs! Pretty annoying!
Are there any brokers or are any of you bean to bar chocolate makers here in Australia able to help me out or point me in the right direction.
Buying from John is not affordable as the shipping is way too high. South East Asia would be viable however.
Thanks so much for any support!
Cheers,
Regan.
