Yet another update, while the left side top (vented) housing seemed to be a source of vibration, I determined that the entire main top housing was vibrating against the entire plastic bottom at various points. To remedy this, I opened the unit by removing the whole top to expose the motor and belt. I then put a small bead of marine caulk every couple of inches along the edge of the bottom plastic shell, plus a dab on each screw hole, and let it dry overnight. When I replaced the top and screwed it down, closing the melanger's two part clamshell case design), the top's bottom edge pressed down onto and against the side of this caulk, practically eliminating all vibration anywhere except for the granite. Can't wait to get some nibs in this thing.

😁 Sounds like you are making up for what I perceived as a design flaw. You'd think Spectra would update their design with these simple fixes! 👍
