I have used one of these for cracking beans, you just need to make sure the front plate of the grinder is very loose

If you're doing it for home then that will work just fine, but you won't get a very even crush. To do it quicker, replace the handle and arm with a cordless drill.

Okay, thank you. I have a drill so that should work. I have been used to cracking cocoa beans in a bag with a rolling pin which is quite tedious and takes a while when doing large batches. You also end up with a lot of dust which is wasted. As I am only 16, I cannot afford to buy the champion or crankandstein yet.
