Hi everyone, I know this might be too old a machine to get much help but my Santha 10 started clicking during a batch recently. I pulled the drum and opened it up and it looked like the fan blade had slipped and was clicking against the 4 bolts holding the motor case on. To confirm, with the case off, i powered it on and that's where the sound was coming from. I used a large flathead screwdriver to pry the fan blade up a bit and the noise stopped. Confirming the original diagnosis. So I got everything bolted back together and allowed the batch to finish; however within a few hours it started making the same noise again. Question I have here is has anyone had this issue before? Before I go permanently modifying the fan blade (plugging the hole so it cant slip anymore) I wanted to ask around. This looks like it will be an easy fix with a little plastic and some glue or epoxy to essentially hold the fan blade up. Thanks in advance! BTW: I searched the forum and only found talk of a fan blade replacement due to damage and clicking. I cant see any damage to the fan blade itself and I'm not seeing any damage or plastic left behind on the bolts the fan is clicking against.
