For making chocolate at home, there really isn't anything else on the market to compare to.
...yet.

So the latest Model from Diamond custom machines ( premier chocolate refiner ) is not comparable to the ECGC 12 SL
Do you own the Cocoatown 12 sl

The Premier Chocolate Refiner is an excellent machine. The main difference between it and the ECGC 12 SL is capacity and cost. It just depends on your needs. I own the Premier. You can search this forum for comments on both refiners.

Thanks Thomas
but both machines have a capacity of 10 pounds.if I’m read both sides correctly other than the money difference and there is a big difference ( I’m reading between the lines here )you’re saying that the chocolate refiner would be a better bye

I have the smaller Premier that states an 8 lb capacity but I would never go above 6 lbs. I can’t speak specifically about the larger one but I doubt you should refine 10 lbs in it. I would still search through the forums as this topic has been covered many times..

And no, I don't work for or get any money from whomever makes the Premier.

Thanks chip The Tilt version is a 10 lbs you must have the upright version So after reading what was is available on this subject I've come to the obvious decision to Buy The chocolate refiner For the money I could buy 2 and it is pretty parent that the customer service is not up to Snuff with Cocoatown

I had a problem with it on setting it up and they got back to me immediately and got me up and running in no time.
