Hello, everyone! I have purchased cocoa butter once to make some chocolate. I only purchased 2 pounds, but it cost me about $30. I think that's a little steep. Where does everyone buy their cocoa butter? I'm looking to buy 10 pounds if it's under $100, shipping included. I don't want to buy 35 pounds because I don't have the $400 for it. Any help would be appreciated!

This may be a silly obvious question, but have you looked at Chocolate Alchemy's cocoa butter? You can get 10 lbs for $108 plus shipping. That's close to your price point.

That's honestly cheaper than most that I've seen, going up to $120 for 10 pounds. Thank you!

I am also wondering where I can buy bulk Cocoa butter, but in Canada.
The only places that seem to carry it here are mom and pop type soap / "Wellness" shops and they are asking totally ridiculous prices, like $20-$60 per pound.
If anyone here has any leads that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in the UK but I assume that you can get the same stuff that I use over there.
I usually use Callebaut Callets. They are little cocoa butter buttons and come in 3Kg tubs. These are very easy to measure out and use.
Casa Luker also sell cocoa butter buttons though the type I get is non-deodorised which means that the flavour of their beans will get into your chocolate (only a problem if single origin/flavour is an issue for you, there is nothing wrong with the taste, I use it for all my white chocolate)
You can get big tubs of cocoa butter but callets/buttons are just easier to use and the savings are not big from my supplier.
