Let me start off by saying Im very new to this. I have only winnowed 3 small batches.
This last time I noticed something. I was using the sylph that I built. After winnowing I noticed that some of the hull had stuck to side of the pail from an electrostatic charge. I started wondering if electrostatic charge could be set up to winnow.
I would hate to be the guy who thinks he stumbled onto something but everyone else already knew.
Has this been done? If not, you think it could it work?

you'll find that it works only for the very light pieces (i.e. pieces that don't have dirt or nibs agglomerated to them). it can be a great way to increase the efficiencies when used with other mass based winnowing systems however.
