Alufoil sells all kinds of confectionary foil. www.Alufoil.com Elliot Lent is the sales guy. You can buy your printed wraps from most print shops. It's simply a piece of paper with writing on it, so once you have the dimensions, they set up a cutting die, and go to town. Small runs are a bit expensive as they are generally done on a laser printer. Large runs are done on an offset press and are way cheaper on a piece by piece basis.

Thanks so much that is what I thought but wanted to confirm, I have been a chef for 32 years with three young boys ,it,s a hard life .I do very well with sweets at the restaurant and am wanting to end my last 12 years as a artisan in baked goods breads, and chocolate looks like the way I want to go. I just purchased a coco grinder and have two wet grinders on order and looking for a tempering machine winnower and enrober .I am sure this is going to be a lot of learn as you go for me but I have a lot of culinary back ground in my favor.is most of the people on this forum hobbyist or running retail shops ?
I will keep you posted with pictures as I go, coco beans are my next purchase.

There is a very eclectic mix of people who frequent this forum. Many are hobbyists (I started that way several years ago), and others are at the very pinnacle of the world's chocolate food chain. I've learned an immense amount about chocolate on this forum thanks to everyone's contributions - so much so, that I've gone from a home hobbyist, to now having 3 very busy stores selling my wares exclusively.
Have fun with your chocolate journey, and be sure to share your experiences whether good or bad. We all like to see what others are doing and most of the time are willing to provide advice based on our own experience!
Cheers. Brad

As Brad stated, Alufoil is an excellent source for your wrapping foil. For the outer wrappers, you can actually print them out yourself for relatively cheap. For small runs of bars, we use Red River Paper's 32lb glossy paper and colorfast inkjet dyes. Here's a recent run:

Cheebs, How did you attach the wrapper after you printed it out? I have the same foils and wanted to wrap my bars with my own printed label but do this in volume. double stick tape on an applicator was the best so far but still not a great solution. Tx
