Apples vs Oranges
JKV is a wheel machine that uses seeding to temper batches of chocolate.
Selmi is a continuous temperer that uses refrigeration and heating circuits to offer a constant stream of tempered chocolate.

Yes right ah!
I've been doing a little more research and have found the FBM range of machines.. there is a new one called the Kleego that's looking very cool for conching chocolate. I'm really liking the look of the Prima too, does anyone here work with these machines?

I just ordered an FBM Compatta, same as Prima but a bigger bowl. I was very tempted by the Frichoc from Spain, looks like an amazing machine but over my budget. Selmi seems very popular but I think the FBM is better value.

Also look at GAMI, Italian continuous tempering machine. They start at 7000Euros

feedme mentioned the Kleego, which is a melter and conche, not a tempering machine. I don't believe it has any ability to really cool the chocolate.
