I see where some here have expiremented with the Olde Tyme Peanut Grinder ($2100 new) as a nib grinder. I have recently seen a used one on ebay for much cheaper than that. Their output seems to be about 2kg/min of peanut butter which seems significantly faster than the Champion Juicer.
Does it do a good job on nibs?
Thanks!

Clay;
There's no need to buy one of those if you have a Santha/Ultra, as it's already been established in a couple of threads in here that with the right amount of patience, and ensuring your ingredients are warm, you can dump everything right into the Santha/Ultra.
I generally heat my cocoa butter in the microwave to about 140 degrees, and then stir in the nibs and sugar to warm them all up, and then dump them into the machine (which has also been preheated). Everything works just fine.

Well, in a way, I would disagree Brad. It is a matter of the right tool for the right job. For 'most' people here, the Olde Tyme is way over kill. But if you are doing production, and as you point out many times Brad, time is money for you. (i.e.patience/time) then it does a fantastic job.
The output is about a little slower at about 2-3 lbs/min, but way faster than the champion if you need speed.
Look for a used one though. They last forever and can usually be had for 1/3 the new price.
